Manchester United Betting Guide

Manchester United set the benchmark for all the other teams in the Premier League. They have won 11 Premier League titles and have never finished outside the top three since the inception of the Premier League.
Manchester United have a great home record and over the last five seasons they have an average of 54% clean sheets at home. Their home games also yield a large number of average goals and taking games at Old Trafford to have over 2.5 goals is the Manchester United bet to be on when their win odds are too prohibitive (which can happen a lot at home throughout the season).
Ronaldo will certainly be missed by United as his goals have been a big part of their success over the past few seasons. The industry of Carlos Tevez will also be missed, but we still think United will challenge for the title this coming season and they are entitled to be the favourites in our opinion.
We don’t think they will be as strong this season as they have been in the past couple of years, but we do think all of the top four will find things tougher this season and United may have to settle for second place.
When placing Manchester United bets consider including them in doubles, trebles and accumulators as they win a high percentage of matches and can be used as a banker bet .
The Manchester United bet that we think have most chance of giving a winning return this season is the FA Cup. We don’t believe a bet on United to win the Champions League this season offers much hope of a return and a lot of their main challengers in Europe appear to have far stronger squads at the moment than United.
Manchester United record against the other top three teams since 2004/5 season
Arsenal - Played: 10 Won 4 Drawn 3 Lost 3
Liverpool- Played: 10 Won 7 Drawn 1 Lost 2
Chelsea- Played : 10 Won 3 Drawn 3 Lost 4
Manchester United have a good enough record against the other top sides. They have only lost twice to Liverpool, but that has been in their last two meetings and so we wouldn’t be too confident if having a bet on Manchester United to beat Liverpool at the moment.
We reckon if you have a bet on Manchester United to win the league you won’t be too far away, but you may not be on to a winner this season
