Manchester United only need to take a point from old foes Arsenal to clinch the title and it looks a safe bet that they will. Arsenal have only managed one win in their lasts six league visits to Old Trafford and although they would love to spoil the party the 11/2 (Betfred) on offer is a fair reflection on their chances. We think a bet on a 2-0 correct score 13/2 (Paddypower) could bring a return. Ryan Giggs 12/1 (Skybet) is our pick to be first goalscorer.

Wigan put up a good showing against Manchester United midweek, but they just can’t seem to get a win and their visit to Stoke is unlikely to change that. Wigan have gone six games without a win and have only managed four wins away all season Stoke look a solid home selection to us and at 5/4 have to be backed. We think they could keep a clean sheet 13/8 (Paddypower) and we’re also tipping them to win to nil 9/4 (Skybet)

Our prediction is a home win for Stoke. A correct score bet of 1-0 7/1 (Ladbrokes) looks a decent price to get on.

Chelsea are unbeaten in 10 at home but they have had a lot of draws where they should have won. with Blackburn looking a lot more solid at the back recently we’re going to take a chance on them getting an unexpected point. We’re selecting a 0-0 scoreline 14/1 (Bet365).

Newcastle need another performance like the one against Middlesbrough to see them climb to safety, but Fulham won’t be easy to beat. Fulham have only lost twice in their last eight games and these defeats have been against Chelsea and Liverpool.

Fulham have won four of their last six games against Newcastle and we think Newcastle will have to sweat it out next week to see if they are safe. The 2-1 correct score is 15/1 (Skybet) and looks a bit overpriced and could prove to be value.

Aston Villa have won on their last three visits to the Riverside and although they have been out of form we think they will be too good for Boro. Middlesbrough look a poor side at the moment and we’re going for Villa to win this easily. We’re going for a 3-0 correct score 33/1 (Bet365). Ashley Young 11/1 (Ladbrokes) is our first goalscorer selection.

Scotland

The SPL title race looks to be going right down to the wire with both Celtic and Rangers dropping points on the run in.
We think there could be more twists to come and with opponents of the Old Firm always available at big prices we’re going to take neither of the big two to win this weekend.

Rangers had to battle extremely hard to get a point against Hibernian at Easter Road midweek and we think those exertions may have taken their toll and we’re taking Aberdeen to get something from this match.

We’re selecting a draw 9/2 (Paddypower) and think a bet on a 1-1 correct score 10/1 (Coral) could be worth a small stake.

Hibernian came within 10 minutes of destroying Rangers title chances midweek and they can end Celtic’s this weekend. Hibernian have a good home record against Celtic in recent seasons and have won three of the last four meetings between the teams.

Hibs look overpriced at 6/1 to win and we have to take them to win at that price. Steven Fletcher 9/1 (Paddypower) is our choice to get the first goal.
