Best Away , Homes and Draw Bets for this Weekend’s Football

Home

West Brom have won two of their last four league games and they can join opponents Middlesbrough on 21 points if they pick up all three points from this match. West Brom are unbeaten in three at home and with Middlesbrough suffering three straight losses on their travels West Brom could be a bit of value at 13/10 (Bodog) to win.

James Morrison 14/1 (Bet365) could be worth a bet as first goalscorer.

Our prediction West Brom to win 2-1 8/1 (Partybets).

Harry Redknapp meets up with his old team when Tottenham play Portsmouth on Sunday at White Hart Lane. Spurs have won a couple of cup ties recently, but haven’t managed a win in the league for five matches now. They should put that right against Portsmouth who have suffered four straight defeats in the league.

Spurs are 8/11(Partybets) and are a fair bet against a team who have lost on their last five away visits to Spurs. We can se Defoe popping up against his old club and being first goalscorer at 4/1 (Ladbrokes).

Our Prediction a 2-0 Spurs win at 5/1 (Partybets).

Preston have moved above Burnley in the League and they can consolidate that position by winning at home against their play off rivals. Against a Burnley side that seem to have lost their form we think Preston are decent value at Evens (Bodog) to take all three points.

Our Prediction Preston to win 3-2 33/1 (Skybet).

Nottingham Forest could be a bit of value at 11/10 (Ladbrokes) as they have only been beaten once in their last five matches in all competitions. Opponents Plymouth Have only one win in seven league matches and we have to stick with the side in form and pick Forest to win. A bet on Robert Earnshaw to be first goalscorer at 11/2 (Paddypower) could give a return.

Our prediction Forest to win 2-0 11/1 (Betfair).

Swindon haven’t been great away from home and Huddersfield don’t look too bad a price at 8/11 (Partybets) to get a home win.

Our prediction a 2-0 win for Huddersfield 8/1 (Skybet).

Wycombe’s home record is exceptional and it would be a major shock if they didn’t beat third bottom Grimsby at home. Wycombe are only 4/7 (Coral) and we think that’s a good price.

Our prediction is a 3-0 win for Wycombe 10/1 (Partybets)

Ross County are no world beaters, but they look overpriced at 5/4 (Bet365) to beat Queen of the South who have only picked up one point out of a possible twenty seven in their last nine league games.

Our prediction Ross County to win 2-0 8/1 (Paddypower).

Away

Aston Villa have gone nine games in the league unbeaten and we think the 13/10 (Coral) on offer is a good price for a Villa team in form against a Sunderland team who haven’t won any of their last three home league games. Villa are developing into serious top four challengers and look capable of taking all three points from this match.

Our prediction Villa to win 2-1 9/1 (Betfair).

Sheffield United are 29/20 (Bodog) to get a win at Watford and look more than likely to do so. Watford aren’t in the best of form and Sheffield United are climbing the league and are now in fourth position.

Our prediction Sheffield United to win 1-0 15/2 (Paddypower).

Carlisle’s dreadful form has improved over the last couple of weeks, but we don’t think they will be a match for MK Dons and think the away win at 11/8 (Ladbrokes) looks worth getting on.

Our prediction MK Dons to win 3-1 20/1 (VCBet).

Stenhousemuir can keep up their title challenge with a win at Dumbarton. The 7/5 (Partybets) looks a decent price and we’re quietly confident they can get the away win.

Our prediction Stenhousemuir to win 2-1 8/1 (VCBet).

Draw

Everton have lost three and drawn four of their last seven derby meetings with Liverpool at Anfield. Another draw at 11/4 (Bet365) looks a possibility here. Everton don’t give a lot away and with Liverpool getting a few 0-0 results the draw looks worth chancing.

Our prediction is a 0-0 draw at 11/1 (Bet365).

Swansea have already drawn eight of their fourteen home matches in the league this season and that total can become nine against Reading on Saturday.  Reading do have a very good away record this season, but we think Swansea can take a point at 9/5 (VCBet).

Our Prediction 1-1 6/1 (Skybet).

Five of the last ten meetings between Dundee United and Motherwell have ended all square. Dundee United have been in great form at home, but Motherwell have just started to pick up points against after a poor start to the season and they look capable of taking a point from this game. The draw is 12/5 (Bodog).

Our prediction 1-1 6/1 (Coral).
