Our Best Bets For This Weekend’s Football Fixtures
This week we’ve selected some home, away and draw bets which we believe have a good chance of being winning bets.
HOME WINS
Stoke v Blackburn
Stoke have decent home form and despite dropping points to Newcastle last week, they can beat Blackburn who have only managed two away wins in their last six games. Stoke look to be decent value at 7/5 (Bet365)/
Wolves v QPR
Wolves will be promoted from the Championship if they beat managerless QPR and we think they will do so in style. We’re tipping a 2-0 correct score at 6/1 (Ladbrokes).
Dagenham & Redbridge v Bradford City
Dagenham & Redbridge could take advantage of Bradford City’s recent run of poor form and take all three points from their clash. Dagenham have won their last two home games while Bradford have now gone seven games away without a win.
Manchester City v West Brom
Manchester City look like a home banker against West Brom. The Baggies are fast running out of games to have any chance of survival and we think this could be the final nail in their coffin. We’re going for a 3-0 win at 11/1 (Coral).
Ross County v Dunfermline
Ross County have already beaten Dunfermline twice this season, the last win coming just a couple of weeks ago. Dunfermline haven’t won in five matches and Ross County look a good bet .
AWAY WINS
Fulham v Middlesbrough
Despite Middlesbrough taking all three points from their match with Hull last week, we think Fulham will be a far more difficult match and we’re having a bet on the away win.
Fulham are very attractively priced at 9/4 (Paddypower), and we’re selecting Clint Dempsey to be first goalscorer at 9/1 (Coral).
Stranrear v Peterhead
Stranraer haven’t won at home for 14 games now and with Peterhead having a decent away record it could pay to back them.
Charlton v Blackpool
A win for Blackpool at Charlton will just about ensure their safety and although Charlton are unbeaten in four at home they do find goals hard to come by and we’re going for a narrow away win. We’re also tipping a 1-0 correct score 15/2 (Coral).
Shrewsbury are going through a terrible run of form at the moment and we think it could pay to back Rotherham to get an away win at decent odds.
SPL bottom club Falkirk have lost their last three home games and Hearts can pile more misery on the “Bairns” by taking all three points from their meeting.
We’re going for a Hearts win 6/5 (Bet365) and we’re also selecting a 2-1 win for Hearts 8/1 (Coral).
DRAWS
Hibernian v Rangers
Draws look a bit thin on the ground this week , but we think Hibernian might manage to take a point off Rangers in their clash. Rangers have a few injury worries ahead of this game and with Hibernian unbeaten in five matches at home, we think a surprise could be on the cards. We’re going to go with a 1-1 correct score at 13/2 (Skybet). Derek Riordan 14/1 (Coral) could pop up with the first goal at a nice price.
Leeds v Tranmere
Both Leeds and Tranmere are in good form at present and we think this game might end up a draw.
