Chelsea may have been ultra cautious in the firs leg at the Nou Camp last week, but you can’t really blame them as Barcelona are a  fantastic side-just ask Real Madrid- but they got the job done and came away with 0-0 which leaves the tie wide open going into tonight’s match.

Barcelona are always capable of scoring and Chelsea will need to be solid at the back again tonight. Chelsea may well keep things pretty tight again tonight especially early on and we don’t expect a lot of goals tonight. The under 2.5 goals 4/5 (Paddypower) is one bet we will be seriously giving thought to tonight.

It’s now 17 European games since Chelsea have been beaten at Stamford Bridge and as they showed last week they know how to frustrate Barcelona, but are they capable of going on to win it? We think so and we believe Chelsea are a very good bet at 9/5 (Bet365) to win the match tonight.

We think selecting the half time /full time result of draw/Chelsea at 5/1 (Coral) could be a winning bet. Chelsea at 13/5 (Paddypower) to keep a clean sheet is another bet that looks to be a bit of value, as does Chelsea to win to Nil at 1/3 (Ladbrokes)

We like to follow statistics and with Chelsea’s formidable home record coupled with the fact English teams have won their last 13 matches against foreign opposition we’re sure we’re making the right decision in tipping Chelsea to make their second final in two years.

When Barcelona put it all together they are undoubtedly a brilliant team, but Guus Hiddink is a master tactician and we’re sure he will have figured out a way to keep Barcelona quiet ,yet still allow Chelsea to go on and win the game.

Barcelona will attract plenty of support at 13/8 (Skybet) and we’re sure the draw at 12/5 (Bet365) will also have punters digging deep into their pockets. But despite their attacking brilliance we’re not too sure that defensively Barcelona can keep Chelsea at bay tonight.

We’re taking what we believe is the value and we’re predicting a win for Chelsea in what we could be an extremely tight match with few chances. Our selection is a 1-0 win for Chelsea available at 15/2 (Paddypower).

With a set piece likely to be the best chance of a goal, we’re going to select John Terry 25/1 (Coral) to pop up with the goal.
