Tuesday Night Football
There’s plenty of games in the Premiership and Football leagues tomorrow and we’ve picked out what we believe are the best bets that are going to give you a return for your money.
Premier League
Four games take place on Tuesday and our pick of the bets tonight has to be Tottenham at home to Stoke. The away form of Stoke has been abysmal this season and we can’t see Spurs missing the chance to take three much needed points against the Premier League’s worst away team.
Spurs are 3/5 (Partybets) to win and that looks a good enough price for us to take. We’re having a bet on the 2-1 correct score 7/1 (Ladbrokes).
West Brom have won their last three home games, but we can’t see them making it four against Manchester United. West Brom have never beaten United in the Premier League and that record looks as if it will be still in place after this game. If West Brom play as open as they usually do then we can see United scoring a few goals. We’re going for United to win at 10/33 (Bodog). We’ll be having a small bet on the 4-1 correct score at 20/1 (Partybets) and are taking Berbatov to be first goalscorer at 5/1 (Coral).
Fulham draw a lot of their away games and they look likely to take a share of the spoils when they visit Sunderland. We’re going for a draw 9/4 (Bodog) with a 1-1 correct scoreline 11/2 (Ladbrokes).
Portsmouth look like a team on the skids and Aston Villa can keep their good run of league results going with a win at Fratton Park. Portsmouth haven’t managed a win in their last six league games and wit Villa having won their last five away league matches we can only see one outcome. Take Villa to win at 13/10 (Bet365) and try a small stake on the 2-0 correct score 25/2 (Betfair).
Championship
Without a win in four games, Birmingham need to take all three points from their match against Derby to keep their promotion challenge alive. We think Birmingham are worth backing at 4/6 (VCbet) to get the three points. Our prediction Birmingham to win 1-0 5/1 (Partybets).
In the clash near the bottom of the table we’re going for Norwich to beat Southampton. Norwich won well at home last time out and at 10/11 (Partybets) they look worth backing against a team with a poor away record.
We’re taking the top two teams Reading and Wolves to share the points in their match. The draw is 23/10 (Bodog) and looks worth backing.
Swansea will be on cloud nine after their cup triumph against Portsmouth and at 11/10 (Bodog) look a decent bet to get the three points in their game with Preston.
League One
Leeds United got a much needed win at the weekend and we think the can follow up with a win at home to Southend. Leeds are 4/7 (Paddypower).
Leaders Leicester can win at home against lowly Brighton. Take the 2/5 (VCbet).
Home wins for MK Dons 4/9 (Partybets), Bristol Rovers 4/5 (Paddypower) and Peterborough 4/9 (Partybets) are all worth backing.
League Two
Gillingham have been formidable at home recently and with Lincoln not managing a win in their last five visits to Gillingham we have to take the home side at Evens (Betfair) which look like a great price. The 3-1 correct score at 14/1 (Paddypower) looks a decent price.
Shrewsbury have poor away form and lowly Barnet could salvage appoint in their clash tonight. The draw is 9/4 (Coral) and looks worth getting on.
We fancy Morecambe to get the away win at Accrington and think the 7/4 (Ladbrokes) is a fair price.
