Premier League- Back Liverpool to Win Away

Liverpool travel to Wigan tonight looking for the three points that will see them go back onto the same points total as leaders Manchester United. Although Wigan are playing well at present and are sitting seventh in the league their record against Liverpool isn’t good and in seven Premier League matches they have only managed to take one point off the Reds.

We believe Liverpool can get a result tonight and at only 3/4 (Partybets) they look well worth backing. We’re taking Liverpool to win and we think they may well be worth backing to win to nil at 17/10 (Partybets). We’re having a bet on the 2-0 correct score at 15/2 (Skybet).

Everton and Arsenal are both in good form at present with Everton lying five points behind the Gunners in the league in sixth place. Everton are very resilient and hard to beat and Arsenal could have trouble penetrating their defence, so we don’t expect a lot of goals.

Everton haven’t the greatest of records at home to Arsenal, but have managed two wins from their last five home meetings. It’s worth noting however that Arsenal have won the last three times the clubs have met and have scored eight goals in those three games.

We don’t think there is an awful lot between these two teams, but we’re going to go with Arsenal 7/5 (coral) to get a win. We’re having a small wager on the 1-0 correct score at 7/1 (Ladbrokes) and we’re taking Sami Nasri 12/1 (Bet365) to get the first goal.

Chelsea can stay in touch at the top with a win over Middlesbrough and the way Middlesbrough have been playing recently we can’t see anything but a win for the Blues.

Middlesbrough haven’t won in ten games in the league and don’t look capable of going to Stamford Bridge and putting Chelsea under any sort of pressure. Chelsea are 2/9 to win (Bodog) and we think they cannot be opposed. This looks like a comfortable win and we’re taking a chance on a 4-0 correct score at 10/1 (VCbet). Frank Lampard at 9/2 (Paddypower) is where our money is going on the first goaslcorer.

New Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce will be looking to get one over on his old club when Bolton come calling and we think he has every chance of getting a win. Blackburn can go above Bolton with a win and come into this match in far better form than their opponents who have lost their last five games in all competitions.

We think the Evens (Paddypower) on offer for a Blackburn win is a great price and shouldn’t be missed. Our prediction is a 1-0 win for Blackburn at odds of 5/1 (Partybets).

West Ham are 5/7 (Bodog) to get a win at home against Hull and should be backed. Hull have lost their early season form, while West Ham are on a good run of results at present and are climbing the table.

The correct score of 3-1 to West ham is 16/1 (Skybet) and we think it’s worth a small stake.

Manchester City are an enigma as you never know just what you are going to get from them. Even if they have one of their poorer games tonight we reckon they will still be good enough to beat a Newcastle team who looked booked for a relegation battle this season.

Newcastle just don’t inspire us and at 8/11 (Ladbrokes) Manchester City look a far safer betting option. When City manage to win they usually win big, so we’re taking a chance on the 3-0 correct score 16/1 (Skybet). We’re also having a bet on Shaun Wright Phillips at 9/1 (Partybets) to be the first goalscorer.
