Premier League Betting-Don’t bank on a Chelsea Win

Third placed Aston Villa are at home to Chelsea this weekend and one bet we won’t be having is the Chelsea win at 11/8 (Bet365). Chelsea haven’t beaten Villa away for 10 years and with Villa playing so well at present an away victory for the blues just doesn’t appeal to us at all.

Villa are on a run of 13 games unbeaten and with Chelsea without a win in their last four away league games the only bet we can get involved with is a Villa home win at 11/4 (Bet365).

Sunderland haven’t managed an away win against any team in the top half of the table this season and we can’t see them changing that with an away win at Arsenal. This looks a banker home win and we’re taking Arsenal at 2/5 (Skybet) to take all three points.

West Ham and Wigan can both get wins away from home against Bolton and Middlesbrough respectively. West Ham look a team on the up, so the 2/1 (Ladbrokes) looks a good bet to us. Wigan at 2/1 (Skybet) look a decent price to get a win

Stoke can heap more misery on Portsmouth by taking all three points in their clash. A home win for Stoke at 6/4 (PaddyPower) is worth getting on.

Liverpool have beaten Manchester City on their last five visits to Anfield and win number six should be the outcome come the final whistle in this game. Liverpool to win at odds on 4/7 (PaddyPower) is still a fair price. All Liverpool’s last five home wins over City have been by the odd goal with three of them ending in 1-0 wins.

We’re taking the 1-0 correct score at 6/1 (Bet365) to give us a winning bet.

In good form at present Everton look as if they will be too good for Newcastle and should be backed at 6/4 (Skybet).
