Monday and Tuesday Football Bets

Monday

Leeds are at home to Millwall in a league One clash that is live to viewers on Sky.

Two successive home wins and four wins from their last six games have moved Leeds back into seventh position in the league and have given their play-off hopes a boost.

Opponents Millwall are just one position above Leeds and have a five point cushion. Leeds will be looking to make that gap only two points after tonight’s match, but we don’t think there will be too much between the teams.

Millwall have been in decent form although they did lose their last match and could be given a chance of getting a win 3/1 (Coral). One thing that stops us backing them at this price is their record at Leeds. Millwall haven’t won in their last four visits to Elland Road and with Leeds looking as if they are coming back into form we’re going for a home win.

Leeds United are 10/11 (Paddypower) to win and we’re backing them to do just that. We’re going for Leeds to win 2-1 8/1 (Skybet). New signing Mike Grella could start for Leeds and if he does a bet on him being first goalscorer at 15/2 (Bet365) could be a good price as he scored a hat-trick against Barnsley in a reserve match last week.

Tuesday

In League One we’re going for third bottom club Crewe to get a win against Bristol Rovers. Crewe have won  their last two home matches and against a Bristol Rovers team who have only two away wins all season Crewe at 13/8 (Skybet) are worth a bet.

Another win for Colchester tonight would see them move nearer a play–off spot and we think they look good value at 11/10 (Paddypower) to beat a Tranmere team who are without a win in their last seven matches on the road.

We’re predicting a 2-0 win to Colchester at 13/2 (Partybets).

We think both Peterborough 5/4 (Ladbrokes) and Walsall 12/5 (Partybets) are worth backing to get away wins.

Barnet and Grimsby are down at the foot of league Two and although wins for both of these sides are as rare as a Portsmouth fan with a smile, we’re going for Grimsby to pick up all three points. The have only lost once in their last five games and in that sort of form we think they can sneak a win at nice odds of 19/10 (VCbet).

We’re also going for home wins in League Two for Morecambe 7/5 (Partybets) and Exeter City 18/19 (Betfair).

Brentford have only lost two from their last 10 games and they should be able to pick up three points from their trip to Accrington. The home side have lost their last two games and they look as if they might find Brentford too good on the night.

We’re taking Brentford to win at 11/10 (Coral) and predicting a 3-1 score at odds of 17/1 (Partybets)
