World Cup Qualifiers
Seven World Cup Qualifiers take place in the European zone tonight and we’ve tried to pick out some bets that we think can provide us with a good chance of getting a return on our stakes.
The England v Andorra match doesn’t provide a whole lot of betting opportunities as England are impossible to back at odds of 1/100 (Skybet) and the chances of Andorra getting a result are as slim as an anorexic stick insect.
Andorra have only won two of their last 49 International matches and they have met England three times in that period failing to score against them and that looks set to continue tonight.
Andorra are available at 100/1 (Ladbrokes) and a draw is 22/1 (Paddypower) but there is no way we’d contemplate having a bet on them. The only bets we see as being viable betting propositions in this match are the correct score bets and goalscorer betting.
Andorra lose an average of around three goals per game and we can see England scoring a few goals tonight. Wayne Rooney 3/1 (Ladbrokes) and Frank Lampard 11/2 (Coral) are possible first goalscorers and we’re going for Frank Lampard to get the opener.
Also in England’s group we’re going for Ukraine to beat Kazakhstan. Our prediction is a 4-0 win 17/2 (Skybet)
Macedonia play Iceland in Scotland’s group and this match looks as if it will be low scoring affair with Macedonia only managing two goals in their five group games and Iceland scoring six goals in the six games they have played so far. The under 2.5 goals is 8/13 (Paddypower) and has to be worth a bet.
This is a game both teams could do with winning to keep their qualifying chances alive, but we don’t think there will be a winner in this match.
Our selection is a draw 5/2 (Bet365) and we’re tipping a 0-0 correct scoreline at 15/2 (Skybet).
Also in this group Holland are at home to Norway who could be out of contention if they don’t get anything against the Dutch. Holland have already qualified are unbeaten and only lost two goals in the campaign. With Norway without a win in their four games so far really hard to see them take anything from the Dutch tonight.
Norway will be hard to break down as usual and we can’t see Holland running away with the match. We’re going for a 2-0 correct score 5/1 (Paddypower). We’re also having a bet on Arjen Robben 9/1 (Ladbrokes) to be first goalscorer.
In the other games taking place tonight we’re going for Finland to get a draw in their match with Russia at odds of 5/2 (Bet365). Our prediction is a 1-1 correct score 13/2 (Skybet).
