FA Cup Replays-Monday and Tuesday
Monday
Leeds travel to Northampton for their replay tonight and a win is by no means certain. In the first match Leeds couldn’t make home advantage, or the fact they played an hour with an extra man after Northampton’s Coke was sent off count. Northampton defended stubbornly and Leeds just couldn’t break them down.
Leeds haven’t been too convincing of late and we think they may need more than 90 minutes to win here. We’re going for a draw 12/5 (Skybet) and taking the match to end 1-1 11/2 (Ladbrokes). We do think Leeds will win the tie and taking them to win on penalties 17/2 (Paddypower) could be worth a bet.
Tuesday
Luton failed to find the net against Altrincham in the first match and this could be another close match. Altrincham have affair home record and Luton have done okay on their travels this season. Luton are 5/4 (Partybets) to win away, but we’re going to go for a bit of an upset and we’re tipping the Conference side to get a win 9/4 (Bet365).
League Two Dagenham&Redbridge have a good home record and they can make that tell against League One Hereford in this match. Hereford haven’t managed an away win in the league this season and with Dagenham having kept five clean sheets in their eight home games, Hereford may not be able to find the net.
We’re going for Dagenham to win the match 13/10 (Coral) and a 2-0 correct score bet 12/1 (Betfair) looks worth taking.
Oldham’s for has stuttered recently and they have only managed two wins in their last seven games. They did get a win on Saturday away at Northampton and we think they’ll be too good for Cheltenham who have an abysmal away record.
Oldham are available at 8/15 (Partybets) and look a banker bet.
Barnet did well to hold Rochdale to a 1-1 scoreline in the first match, but we can’t see them upsetting their League Two rivals in the replay. Rochdale have won the last two meetings between the clubs in the league and Rochdale 4/7 (Ladbrokes) is our pick in this match. We’re going for a small stake on a 3-0 correct score 10/1 (Partybets).
Barrow have already beaten Eastbourne Borough at home in the Conference Premier Division 3-1 and having won their last three home matches we’re taking Barrow to run out winners in this match. Barrow look a decent bet at Evens (Partybets) and they are 14/1 (Partybets) to get a 3-1 repeat of their league win and that’s our correct score selection.
In the other replays we’re going for home wins for Lincoln 4/6 (VCbet), Southend 2/7 (Skybet), Rotherham 4/5 (Partybets) and Fleetwood Town 4/9 (Coral).
We’re selecting a draw between Hartlepool and Brighton 12/5 (Bet365) and going for away wins for Oxford 11/10 (VCbet), Darlington 8/11 (Partybets) Carlisle 11/10 (Ladbrokes) and Yeovil 4/1 (Skybet)
