Tonight’s Football Betting-All or Nothing for Norway
Scotland visit Norway tonight in a World Cup Qualifier with the home side needing to pick up all three points or face elimination from the competition.
Surprisingly Norway have managed to pick up only three points from the five matches they have played so far and are 10/11 (Bet365) to pick up all three points against Scotland. Norway did get a 0-0 draw at Hampden against the Scots and having drawn three of their last five games another draw tonight at 9/4 (Skybet) wouldn’t really surprise us.
Scotland are 3/1 (Bet365) to get an away win and are no forlorn hopes. They too really could do with winning tonight, but a point might not be a disaster. Scotland’s away record isn’t great, but they do have a recent away win against Iceland in this group and so you can make a case for them picking up all three points.
Both teams find goals hard to come by and the under 2.5 goals 4/6 (Paddypower) looks a bit of a banker. You can get odds of 8/1 (Skybet) about a repeat of the Hampden score of 0-0 although we think a 1-1 at 11/2 (Ladbrokes) could be the bet to be on tonight.
We’re selecting a draw and are having a bet on Kenny Miller 8/1 (Ladbrokes) to be first goalscorer.
In England’s group Croatia are odds on at 3/4 (Bet365) to get a win in Belarus and we’re going for them to get a 2-1 win 8/1 (Skybet).
England are in action in an International friendly against Holland and we don’t expect there to be too much between the two teams. Holland have already qualified for the 2010 World Cup Finals and may see this friendly match as an opportunity to experiment a little against top quality opposition. England are likely to do the same and give squad players a run out.
England are 11/5 (Ladbrokes) to get a win with Holland priced at 13/10 (Paddypower) to get the upper hand. We are tipping a draw here at 9/4 (Bet365) and think a 1-1 correct score 11/2 (Skybet) could be worth a little bet. A small stake on Arjen Robben to be first goalscorer at 10/1 (Coral) is recommended.
The Republic of Ireland are also in friendly action tonight with a home match against Australia. We’re quite surprised to see Ireland at 5/4 (Skybet) as we thought they might be odds on to win this match.
The Aussies will provide a stiff test ,but we’re going with the win for Ireland and we’re selecting the 2-0 correct score 17/2 (Paddypower).
Northern Ireland are having a good World Cup campaign and their home match with Israel at Windsor Park will be an ideal warm up for the vital qualification matches they have next month.
Northern Ireland have a full squad to choose from for this fixture and they look a good price at 6/4 (Bet365) against an Israel team who aren’t always the best of travellers.
This looks a good home win bet and we’re taking Northern Ireland to win 2-1 8/1 (Paddypower). It’s always dangerous to overlook David Healy 11/2 (Paddypower) as the first goalscoring option, but we’re going to do that this time and instead go for Kyle Lafferty 15/2 (Bet365).
