Premier League

Sunderland are in an awful run of form at present and are without a win in 11 away games. That run has to come to an end sometime and we feel they won’t get an easier chance to end it than tonight’s fixture with Portsmouth. Pompey haven’t won in six games now and are in danger of being cast adrift at the bottom of the table. Things off the pitch go from bad to worse for Portsmouth and we just feel that Sunderland can take advantage of all these negatives and get the three points.

We’re predicting an away win for Sunderland 6/4 (Paddypower). The 2-1 correct score is a bet we will be having at 10/1 (Coral).

Manchester City look to be a home banker against Bolton, who have had less away wins this season than Portsmouth have had owners this month. We have to go with a home win for City 4/9 (Bet365) in this one.

A draw 23/10 (Paddypower) is our prediction in the Wigan v Stoke City match. Wigan have been out of form and Stoke don’t get many away wins so we feel the draw has to have an excellent chance here. The under 2.5 goals 4/7 (Coral) looks worth a bet and we are also selecting a 1-1- correct score bet at odds of 11/2 (Ladbrokes) to give us a wining bet. James McCarthy 14/1 (Paddypower) is our selection to grab the first goal.

Betting on a win for Fulham tonight against Burnley should get a return on your money. Burnley can’t win away from home and at 8/11 (Coral) Fulham aren’t too bad a price. Our prediction is a home win with a 3-0 scoreline 12/1 (Coral). Stefano Okaka 11/2 (Bet365) is our first goalscorer tip.

Championship

Cardiff are 4/7 (Coral) to get a home win against Peterborough and we are confident they will pick up the three points eve after their heavy defeat at the hands of Newcastle. We’re going for a bet on the over 2.5 goals 4/5 (Skybet) as well as a small stake on a 3-0 result 10/1 (Paddypower). Our first goalscorer pick is Ross McCormack 11/2 (Ladbrokes).

Three of the last five meetings between Watford and Bristol City have ended in draws and with neither team being in the best of form at the moment we’re going for the match to end all square tonight. A draw is a best priced 12/5 (Skybet) and looks the bet to be on.

If you are placing any multiple bets then you have to include West Brom  4/9 (Ladbrokes). They have beaten Scunthorpe on their last three meetings and have notched 11 goals in the process. The over 2.5 goals 4/6 (Skybet) has to be backed here. We’re predicting a home win and think the 4-0 correct score bet 20/1 (Coral) is worth a little flutter.

Johnstones Paint Trophy

It’s the second legs of the area semi finals and our picks are Carlisle 3/1 (Ladbrokes) to get a win over Leeds after snatching a 2-1 win at Elland Road. Leeds look to be in a bit of a rut form wise and we’re tipping a 2-1 win for Carlisle tonight at 12/1 (Skybet).

In the other match we are predicting a home win for Southampton 6/5 (Bet365).
