International Football Bets
For our football betting tips this weekend we are concentrating on European World Cup Qualifying matches.
Finland v Wales
Finland and Wales clash in what is now a meaningless match and with Finland showing good home form it’s no real surprise they are 5/6 (Bet365) favourites to win the match. Wales have put up decent away performances against Russia and Germany and we wouldn’t be too surprised to see them take something from the match.
We’re predicting a draw 12/5 (Skybet) and think the game could end 1-1 11/2 (Coral).
Republic of Ireland v Italy
The Republic of Ireland still have an outside chance of winning the group, but they would need to beat group leaders Italy in Dublin. Having already drawn in Italy, Ireland will fancy their chances and we think they could be worth a bet at 13/5 (Bet365) to inflict a first defeat in the group on Italy.
Our selection is Ireland to win by 1-0 13/2 (Paddypower). In this match we’re also having a bet on the half time/ full time result of Ireland/Ireland at 9/2 (Bet365).
Ukraine v England
Having already qualified as group winners there will be no pressure on England to get a result in this match and they should be able to just go out and play. Ukraine will be looking for the three points they need to try and clinch second spot and this will be a tough match for England. Ukraine haven’t been beaten at home in the group and at odds of 5/2 (Coral) a win for the home side could be worth taking here.
A correct score bet on a 2-1 win (Coral) is a bet we think could be worthwhile. Andrei Yarmolenko 12/1 (Bet365) is our selection to be first goalscorer.
Denmark v Sweden
Denmark and Sweden meet in a top of the table clash in Group1 and with the home side unbeaten in the competition so far a home win at 7/5 (Bet365) looks a good bet. Soren Larsen has scored a third of Denmark’s fifteen goals in the competition and he has to be worth a bet at 7/1 (Paddypower) to be first goalscorer in this match.
Estonia v Bosnia
If Bosnia can win in Estonia then they will make the play offs and there’s every chance that they will get the win they need. An away win is available at 2/5 (Coral) and we’ll be on that as well as having abet on Bosnia winning to nil 6/5 (Skybet). In the home tie Bosnia won 7-0 and although we don’t think they will score seven again a little bet on a 4-0 result 18/1 (Bet365).
Montenegro v Georgia
The match between Montenegro and Georgia looks to have all the hallmarks of a draw. Neither team have won a match in the group, but have 8 draws between them. The draw is available at 11/4 (Bet365) and surely has to be worth a bet at that price given the record of these two teams. A 0-0 result 9/1 (Paddypower) could also be a winning bet.
