Chelsea to Win Top of Table Clash
The big Premier League match this weekend is Sunday’s clash between Chelsea and Manchester United. A win for Chelsea would put them five points clear at the top of the table, while a United win would see them go top.
Chelsea have won all their home matches so far this season and have only conceded one goal. They haven’t lost at home to United in 7 league matches and we think at 11/10 (Ladbrokes) the look value. United are available at 3/1 (Bet365) with the draw-a very possible outcome-available at 9/4 (Paddypower).
We’re predicting a Chelsea win by 2-0 17/2 (Skybet).
Manchester City look as if they could be a banker bet at 4/11 (Skybet) against a Burnley side looking for their first away win of the season. We’re predicting City to win to nil 6/5 (Paddypower) and we’re picking a 4-0 result 16/1 (Bet365). Craig Bellamy is our first goalscorer choice at 9/2 (Paddypower).
With Everton still struggling with injuries and West Ham getting a much needed win against Villa midweek we’re selecting the Hammers to get another win at a nice price.
West Ham are 6/4 (Paddypower) to get a win and they must be backed at this price.
Championship
In the Championship the all Welsh clash between Swansea and Cardiff looks as if it could finish in a draw 9/4 (Bet365). The last two meetings have finished 2-2 and taking both teams to score 4/5 (Ladbrokes) has to be worth a little punt.
We’re predicting a draw and think a 1-1 scoreline 11/2 (Ladbrokes) could be a winning bet.
Unbeaten at home, Blackpool look likely to pick up three points against Scunthorpe although we don’t think there will be a lot between the two teams. In all their wins at home Blackpool have managed to keep a clean sheet and they are available at 15/8 (Skybet) to win to nil this weekend.
A 1-0 win 11/2 (Coral) is our predicted outcome and Charlie Adam 10/1 (Skybet) could be good value to get the first goal.
FA CUP
League Two leaders Bournemouth are away to Chesterfield in the FA Cup and they might have to settle for a replay from this match. Chesterfield are unbeaten at home and we think they can get a draw 9/4 (Paddypower).
One non league team we think can get a win is Oxford 15/8 (Skybet) against League One Yeovil. Oxford have a healthy lead in the Conference Premiership and we’re taking them to win by 2-1 9/1 (Coral) with James Constable 11/2 (Ladbrokes) our tip to be first goalscorer.
Leyton Orient have drawn at Tranmere on their last two visits, but we’re tipping them to go one better this weekend and get a win 13/8 (Ladbrokes).
SCOTLAND
SPL leaders Celtic travel to bottom club Falkirk and with their away form better than their form at home at the moment the away win 1/3 (Coral) is our pick. We’re predicting a 3-1 win 11/1 (Skybet) with Paddy Mc Court our selection to be first goalscorer at odds of 12/1 (Ladbrokes).
Partick at 5/4 (Skybet) appear to offer a bit of value away against Morton who are without a win in four. We’re tipping a 2-1 scoreline 8/1 (Bet365).
