International Friendlies – England Can Warm Up With Win
There are a lot of International friendlies taking place tonight and we have picked out a few bets that seem to ha e a good chance of putting some money belonging to the bookmaker into your pocket.
England meet Egypt at Wembley and we would be pretty surprised if they didn’t run out pretty comfortable winners. Friendly matches are never easy to predict, but with World Cup places up for grabs we can expect a big performance from England tonight.
England are 2/5 (Ladbrokes) to win the match, but you can get a bit better odds by taking them to win to Nil Evens (Paddypower). We’re predicting a 3-0 victory for England 8/1 (Bet365) with James Milner 12/1 (Coral) our first goalscorer selection.
New Scotland boss Craig Levein could get his reign underway with a win against the Czech Republic. Scotland were awful under George Burley and fans will be hoping they can see some improvement in their play and form. Opponents the Czech Republic aren’t the force they once were and their away form isn’t anything to get too excited about.
At odds of 6/4 (Skybet) we’re tipping Scotand to get a home win. The under 2.5 goals looks a bet to get on at 8/13 (Paddypower) and we c can see Scotland getting a narrow a 1-0 win 6/1 (Ladbrokes). Kenny Miller 15/2 (Skybet) could be the first goalscorer at decent odds.
Wales have decided not to select Craig Bellamy for their home friendly against Sweden and instead will assess some young players as they look towards their 2012 Euro qualifying campaign. He will be sorely missed and could be the difference between Wales winning and losing. Opponents Sweden are always strong and well organised and although they too are in the process of rebuilding their team, could have too much quality for Wales tonight.
We’re predicting a win for Sweden 6/5 (Ladbrokes) and think a bet on a 2-0 result 9/1 (skybet) might provide a winning selection. Marcus Berg 13/2 (bet365) is worth a bet to be first goalscorer.
Both Northern Ireland and Albania have the same record of three draws and three defeats from their last six matches. While Albania is never an easy place to go and get any sort of result Northern Ireland do look capable of getting a draw 23/10 (Ladbrokes) and that is going to be our selection. The under 2.5 goals 8/13 (Bet365) and the 0-0 correct score 15/2 (Skybet) are also both worth considering.
Cyprus are not the pushovers they once were, especially at home and they appear to offer a bit of value at 6/5 (Coral) against an Iceland team who don’t win away from home very often.
It’s true Norway have won their last three matches, but two of them were at home and the opposition wasn’t exactly top drawer. Slovakia are decent enough at home and they might be worth a bet at 7/5 (Coral) to get a win at home. The under 2.5 goals has to be backed at 4/6 (Paddypower). Slovakia to win to Nil 3/1 (Paddypower) is a decent enough price to warrant serious consideration.
We’re predicting a 2-0 win 10/1 (Paddypower).
