Tuesday Night Football
Tonight there are Champions League matches as well as a full football League program. We have selected a few bets that look like they can get us a few winners.
Champions League
Liverpool managed a narrow win against Debrecen at Anfield in their group match opener and they look as if they can double their points tally away in Italy against Fiorentina. The Italian side hasn’t managed a home Champions League win since 2000, but they do have an unbeaten home record against English clubs, winning two and drawing one.
With Liverpool not losing away in their group matches last season the draw 5/2 (Bet365) looks the most likely outcome.
We’re predicting a draw and think the match could finish 1-1 6/1 (Coral).
Greek teams don’t normally travel well and Arsenal are our pick to get a home win against Olympiacos. Both teams started with a win in their group but Arsenal looked far more impressive in their comeback against Standard than Olympiacos, who huffed and puffed before getting a 1-0 win over AZ Alkmaar.
Our selection is a win for Arsenal 1/4 (Ladbrokes) and we’re taking a 3-0 correct score 8/1 (Ladbrokes). Robin Van Persie 4/1 (Paddypower) is our first goalscorer selection.
Rangers got a point in Stuttgart and were unlucky not to take all three, but we think Sevilla will be far tougher test. The Ibrox men have been a bit goal shy in recent SPL games and even with home advantage they look about the right price at 11/ 4 (Coral) to get a win.
We’re predicting a win for Sevilla Evens (Paddypower) and going for the under 2.5 goals bet at 4/5 (Bet365) to give us a winner. Fabiano looks good value at 5/1 (Ladbrokes) to be first goalscorer.
Championship
Championship new boys Peterborough seem to be finding their feet after a slow start and they can take all three points against bottom club Plymouth. Seven straight defeats have left Plymouth rooted to the bottom and we can’t realistically give them a chance here on current form.
Peterborough to win 5/6 (Coral) is our selection and we also think a 3-1 correct score 14/1 could be a bet to consider.
Preston can heap more misery on struggling Reading by taking the points in their clash.
We’re tipping a home win for Preston 10/11 (Skybet). A bet on them to win to nil 23/10 (Paddypower) with a 2-0 correct score 7/ (Bet365) are another two bets worth considering.
League One
Exeter City have picked up most of their points at home but they don’t have the greatest of records against Swindon and an away win could be worth considering here. Swindon have drawn a lot of matches already this season but we’re tipping them to get a narrow victory.
An Away win for Swindon 15/8 (Skybet) is our tip here with a small stake on a 2-1 correct score 9/1 (Coral) also recommended.
League Two
Table topping Bournemouth are set to take three points from their visit to Hereford.
We’re predicting a Bournemouth win at Evens (Coral) with a 2-1 correct score 8/1 (Skybet)
