Premier League

Chelsea ended Birmingham’s long unbeaten run in midweek, but they have only lost two home matches all season and are unbeaten in seven at home. You can get 9/4 (Bet365) about them getting a home win over Spurs and that’s an outrageously big price for a team in such good form and has to be backed.

Tottenham have only won one of their last five away league games and in their last five visits to St Andrews. We’re predicting a home win by 2-1 9/1 (Skybet) with Christian Benitez to be first goalscorer at 7/1 (Skybet).

We are taking West Ham to grab all three points from their home match with Blackburn. The away form of Blackburn isn’t good and they leak goals away from Ewood Park. The last time Blackburn even managed a point at Upton Park was back in 1995 and we have to go for the home win here at 11/10 (Ladbrokes). We’re tipping a 2-0 scoreline 17/2 (Paddypower) and think Carlton Cole 5/1 (Coral) could be first goalscorer.

Sunday’s big live match is at the Emirates where Arsenal are hosts to Manchester United. Our selection is going to be a home win 8/5 (Bet365) and we think the result might be 2-1 in Arsenal’s favour at odds of 9/1 (Coral).

Championship

Nottingham Forest look a good away banker at Derby and we’re predicting the away win here at nice odds of Evens (Coral). The over 2.5 goals Evens (Paddypower) also looks worth a bet.

We are taking Reading and Barnsley to share the points and think a draw 12/5 (Skybet) is decent bet. We’re having a bet on a 0-0 result 8/1 (Coral).

Leicester seem to have hit a bit of a flat spot at the moment and haven’t won any of their last three league matches. This could be a good time for leaders Newcastle to play them and an away win looks attractively priced at 6/4 (Ladbrokes). We’re forecasting the win for Newcastle by 2-1 9/1 (Skybet). Nile Ranger 8/1 (Paddypower) is our first goalscorer choice.

League One

Leeds United have slipped up in recent matches and in form Colchester won’t be any pushovers when they come calling this weekend. We think Leeds might have to settle for a point and we’re tipping the draw at 11/4 (Bet365). A 1-1- result 13/2 (Skybet) might be worth a flutter.

League Two

Aldershot are a banker bet against Grimsby who haven’t won in 18 games. The 4/6 (Bet365) has to be taken and we would advise taking Aldershot to win to Nil at 15/8 (Paddypower) as well.

Barnet are really out of form and Notts County look worth including in any multiple bets at odds of  5/11 (Coral). Over 2.5 goals 4/6 (Paddypower) is a bet to consider as we think there will be a few goals. We’re predicting a 4-0 win for Notts County 20/1 (Coral) with Lee Hughes 3/1 (Ladbrokes) to be first goalscorer.

Scotland

Celtic can’t be backed with any real confidence at the moment and with Hamilton giving Rangers a good run for their money over three recent matches we’re predicting a draw 7/2 (Bet365).

Hibernian will be buoyant after their midweek win over Celtic and they have to be backed at 4/6 (Skybet) to get a home win over St Mirren. We’re having a small stake on a 2-0 result 6/1 (Paddypower). Derek Riordan is our first goalscorer choice at 5/1 (Bet365).

In the Second Division Brechin City 7/10 (Bet365) aren’t too bad a price to get a home win against Stenhousemuir. Try a bet on a 1-0 correct score in this match at odds of 6/1 (Ladbrokes).
