Arsenal and Chelsea to Share the Points
Premier League
The big Match this weekend is the game on Sunday between Arsenal and Chelsea. The Gunners have won their last five league games at the Emirates and we think they will at least take a point from Chelsea. We’re selecting a draw 7/4 (Bet365) and are also predicting a 1-1 scoreline 11/2 (Ladbrokes).
Bolton haven’t won away at Fulham in their last 8 attempts. With Fulham winning their last three league games at home we think the home win looks worthy of a bet. The over 2.5 goals Evens (Skybet) can be a winning bet too in this match.
We’re predicting a Fulham win 10/11 (Coral) with a 2-1 scoreline 13/2 (Paddypower).Bobby Zamora is our choice to get the opening goal at odds of 6/1 (Skybet).
Blackburn have found a bit of form of late and can make it five home wins in a row with a win over Stoke. Our prediction is a home win 10/11 (Paddypower) and we’re also going to tip them to win to Nil 21/10 (Skybet). The 3-0 win is available at 16/1 (Bet365) and could be worth a small bet.
Championship
Swansea have won their last three games and are unbeaten in 11 we’re selecting them to get a point away at leaders Newcastle. The draw is on offer at 5/2 (Coral) and is worth backing. We’re tipping a 1-1 scoreline 13/2 (Skybet). Craig Beattie 9/1 (Ladbrokes) is going to be our first goalscorer bet.
Plymouth have only won a couple of home games this season, but we’re picking them to get a home win over Barnsley at odds of 6/4 (Bet365). Betting on both teams to score 4/5 (Skybet) look worthwhile and we’re going for a 3-2 win for Plymouth at 25/1 (Coral).
FA Cup
If there is to be a shock this weekend in the FA Cup we think it might be at Northwich where the home team take on Lincoln. Northwich are unbeaten in their last 7 games and Lincoln haven’t won in their last 6 games. At 12/5 (Skybet) we think Northwich are worth a bet to get the home win.
Walsall are on a decent run of form at present and we’re selecting them to get an away win at Brentford. Our prediction is a win for Walsall 2/1 (Coral) and think the match might end in a 1-0 scoreline 9/1 (Paddypower). Troy Deeney looks worth a bet at 7/1 (Ladbrokes) to be first goaslcorer.
We’re predicting a draw between Stockport and Torquay. Both teams find winning difficult at present and the draw 9/4 (Paddypower) looks the bet to be on.
Oxford beat Barrow 1-0 in a league match a couple of weeks ago and we’re tipping the Conference Premier League Leaders to get a win again here. Our prediction is a home win for Oxford 7/19 (Coral). We’re also predicting they will win to nil Evens (Paddypower) and think a 2-0 scoreline 5/1 (Ladbrokes) might be worth a little flutter.
Scotland
SPL leaders Rangers could suffer a hangover from their Champions league defeat and as they haven’t secured many victories of late at Aberdeen (Haven’t won in their last five visits) we’re going to resist the 4/5 (Paddypower) on offer about the away win.
We’re predicting Aberdeen to get a win 4/1 (Coral) by 2-1 16/1 (Coral). Out selection as first goalscorer is going to be Charlie Mulgrew 18/1 (Bet365).
In the Scottish Cup we think it’s a fair bet that East Fife 19/20 (Bet365) will get an away win at Montrose. Without a win all season Montrose shouldn’t pose too many problems and we’re tipping a 3-0 win for East Fife at 14/1 (Paddypower).
