The Premier League is now at a crucial stage with almost every match having some significance in the title or relegation race. Our football betting selections all come from Premier League games taking place this weekend.

Second placed Chelsea are at home to Aston Villa and with Villa unbeaten in their last 10 matches-although they haven’t been at their best recently-we wouldn’t be exactly shocked if this match ended all square. The draw is available at 7/2 (Coral) and is our predicted outcome. We are tipping the 1-1- scoreline 9/1 (Coral).

Arsenal are 8/15 (Ladbrokes) to take all three points at Birmingham. The home record of Birmingham has been exceptionally good (no losses in 11) but they haven’t won any of their last three matches and we feel they might just be beginning to feel the effects of a hard season. Arsenal are our selection and we’re predicting a 1-0 result 6/1 (Skybet) with Nicklas Bendtner 9/2 (Paddypower) our first goalscorer selection.

Could Bolton throw a spanner in the works and beat league leaders Manchester United? Bolton are four matches unbeaten at home now under Owen Coyle and we’re sure there will be a few punters tempted by the 15/2 (Bet365) on offer about a home win. Manchester United are 4/9 (Paddypower) to get the three points and having only dropped three points in their last 10 meetings with Bolton deserve to be hot favourites and are our selection.

West Ham 11/10 (Coral) were pretty poor in midweek against Wolves and are now deep in relegation trouble having lost their last five games. Stoke 11/4 (Skybet) could make that six and we’re having a bet on them to win 2-1 11/1 (Coral).

Having lost their last five matches –and their manager- Hull badly need a win to remain in touch with teams outside the bottom three. They might be encouraged by the fact opponents Fulham haven’t won away in 14 matches, but Fulham are a good side at the moment and we’re more inclined to have a bet on them at 2/1 (Bet365) than on Hull. The under 2.5 goals 4/6 (Paddypower) looks a good bet. We are predicting a 2-0 win for Fulham 14/1 (Paddypower).

After being walloped by Chelsea Portsmouth could end up on the receiving end of another defeat here. Tottenham have only dropped two points out of their last 21 available and are hanging on to that valuable fourth spot at the moment. Our bets for this match are the home win 1/5 (Ladbrokes) a 3-1 correct score 10/1 (Bet365) and for first goalscorer Peter Crouch 4/1 (Paddypower).

Despite collecting 7 points from a possible 9 in their last three matches we are going to oppose Wolves 5/2 (Coral) at home and go with Everton 11/10 (Skybet) to keep up their good recent form and get a win. Everton have given themselves an outside chance of finishing fourth with their recent run and we’re betting on them running out winners by 2-0 10/1 (Skybet).

Liverpool are unbeaten in seven at home, but Sunderland look to be back to their early season form and we feel this could be a close game. We’re taking a chance on the draw 17/4 (Bet365). Both teams to score 5/4 (Paddypower) is worth a bet.

Burnley v Blackburn matches are usually red hot derbies with no quarter given.Burnley desperately need a win and it would be even sweeter if they could get it against Blackburn. On the other hand Blackburn would like nothing better to win and help seal their bitter rival’s relegation. We are taking a chance on the fiercely competitive match bringing the best out of Burnley and siding with them to get a narrow win 6/4 (Ladbrokes) by a  2-1  scoreline 9/1 (Coral).
