All our bets this week are from the Premier League fixtures taking place on Saturday and Sunday and of course  the Carling Cup Final

Saturday

The televised lunchtime match on Saturday is between Chelsea and Manchester City. Chelsea are 13 games unbeaten at the Bridge and with Manchester City only managing one win from their last six matches in all competition this looks a home banker.

The home win is on offer at 4/9 (Ladbrokes) and must be backed. City haven’t managed a goal in their last six league visits to Chelsea and with that in mind we are selecting Chelsea to win to Nil 7/5 (Paddypower). We are predicting the match to end 2-0 13/2 (Skybet).

Bolton haven’t won in five and visitors Wolves haven’t won in four, so a draw 12/5 (Coral) might look the obvious choice. But Bolton haven’t lost a home league match against Wolves since 1994 and we’re tipping them to win this vital survival scrap.

Bolton to get a home win Evens (Bet365) is our choice. We are also opting for a 2-1 correct score bet at odds of 8/1 (Skybet).

It could be a good day for teams at the bottom of the table to pick up some points as we feel Burnley 11/10 (Bet365) might be a bit of value to beat doomed Portsmouth. Our prediction is a 2-0 scoreline 9/1 (Skybet) with Steven Fletcher to be first goaslcorer 6/1 (Paddypower).

Birmingham are still playing well at home and getting results, so the home win at only 10/11 (Coral) against Wigan seems to be decent value.

Arsenal 8/11(Bet365) to win away at Stoke isn’t a bet we will be on. We will be laying Arsenal on the exchanges as we think Stoke could take appoint here at least. We’re forecasting draw 13/5 (Skybet).

Sunday

Everton have won on their last three visits to White Hart Lane and we’re having a small bet on Everton 3/1 (Coral) to get an away win again. The over 2.5 goals bet Evens (Paddypower) is another bet we recommend.

At 2/5 (Coral) Liverpool are pretty short to get a home win against Blackburn, but it is the only outcome we can see happening. Our prediction is Liverpool to win 1-0 6/1 (Ladbrokes) with David NGog 13/2 (Paddypower) pour choice to be first goalscorer.

We’re suggesting a bet on a draw 23/10 (Ladbrokes) between Sunderland and Fulham. It’s been 13 league games since Sunderland last won and with Fulham’s away record extremely poor a low scoring match is likely so we are also tipping the under 2.5 goals bet 4/7 (Paddypower). We think the game will end 1-1 11/2 (Bet365).

Carling Cup Final

We’re going for Aston Villa to make a good season great by causing an upset and beating Manchester United to lift the trophy. In what we think could be a very close match we are having a bet on Aston Villa to win 7/2 (Paddypower) a low scoring affair by 1-0 10/1 (Skybet). Stewart Downing 18/1 (Bet365) is our selection to be first goalscorer.
