Birmingham v Bolton

Bolton play Birmingham this weekend and the bet that looks worth taking is the under 2.5 goals at 8/13 (Skybet). Only one of the six league games Birmingham have been involved in have produced over 2.5 goals and they look good enough defensively to restrict Bolton’s chances.

Birmingham are a nice price of 6/5 (Ladbrokes) to get a home win and should be worth backing.

Sunderland v Wolves

Sunderland are another team who look as if they can secure a home win this weekend. They meet Wolves who capitulated quite tamely in their last away league game at Blackburn.

Sunderland are available at 4/5 (Skybet) and we reckon that’s a decent enough price to be taking with some confidence. A bet on a correct score of 3-1 at 16/1 (Skybet) might be worth a small stake. Darren Bent has been in great goalscoring form and has to be worth a bet at 4/1 (Bet365)

 Blackburn v Aston Villa

Aston Villa have won on their last three visits to Blackburn and their attacking play can get them three points from this one. Blackburn still look like a team in transition at the moment and the 7/4 (Ladbrokes) about them taking all three points from this game looks too short a price in our opinion and won’t be taking them at that price.

The odds on Villa getting the away win are 7/5 (Paddypower) and that looks to be a fair price given how well they are playing at the moment.

We’re predicting a win for Villa with a 2-0 scoreline 9/1 (Coral). Gabriel Agbonlahor looks a very good price of 7/1 (Coral) to be first goalscorer and is our pick.

West Brom v Crystal Palace

In the Championship West Brom top the table and they look bankers to get a home win against Crystal Palace.

We’re going for a home win for West Brom at 8/15 (Paddypower).

Bristol Rovers v Brighton

Bristol Rovers have won their last three matches and we’re tipping them to make it four in a row by getting a home win against Brighton.

We’re predicting a win for Bristol Rovers 5/6 (Coral) and think a 2-0 correct score bet 15/2 (Skybet) could be the bet to be on.

Bradford v Chesterfield

Bradford have been in decent form of late after a slow start to the season. Their opponents Chesterfield have only picked up one point away from home this season and we can see Bradford getting a narrow win here.

Our prediction is a Bradford win at a very attractive 13/10 (Coral). We’re predicting a 1-0 result 7/1 (Ladbrokes). James Hanson 15/2 (Bet365) is our first goalscorer selection.

 Rotherham v Barnet

Barnet are unbeaten in their last seven games and look as if they could be great value at 4/1 (Skybet) to get an away win. Opponents Rotherham are also in good for and are unbeaten in four, but we don’t think there will be a lot between these two teams and Barnet just look too good a price not to take a chance on.

We’re predicting a Barnet win and think a small bet on a 2-1 correct score 16/1 (Coral) could come in at a good price.

 Raith Rovers v Ayr

In Scotland we believe Raith Rovers could provide a bit of value away at Ayr. Raith are 13/10 (Bet365) and that’s a good enough price to be thinking about getting involved.

Also in the Scottish first division there is a bottom of the table clash between Morton and Airdrie United. Managerless Morton (who are bottom of the table) could earn a point here and we’re predicting the game to end in a draw 5/2 (Ladbrokes) with a 1-1 result 6/1 (Bet365) our correct score bet.
