Tuesday Night Football
Premier League
West Ham might have lost their last four games, but their overall home form isn’t too bad and they might not be too bad a bet at 5/6 (Skybet) to get e better of fellow strugglers Wolves. This is a vital match for both teams and with West Ham only losing one of their last five meetings between the two teams we think the points will stay in London. We’re predicting a narrow 1-0 win for the Hammers 6/1 (Ladbrokes).
Championship
Blackpool’s play off hopes are diminishing, but they can keep their hope just about alive if they can beat Swansea. Blackpool are unbeaten in their last four home games, but Swansea have only lost one of their last five away games and have lost only four away games all season. With Swansea so difficult to beat we think the draw 23/10 (Paddypower) will be the result and Blackpool’s promotion hopes will probably be over.
Scunthorpe grabbed a vital win over Plymouth at the weekend and they can put further distance between themselves and the bottom three with a home win against bottom of the league Peterbororough. Take the home win at Evens (Paddypower) and the 2-1 correct score bet 7/1 (Coral. Matthew Sparrow 16/1 (Ladbrokes) is our selection t be first goalscorer.
Nottingham Forest’s home record of 11 straight wins is pretty impressive and it would be major surprise if Crystal Palace were the team to stop that run. Palace have picked up points with some draws recently, but we have to tip the home win 4/6 (Bet365) here.
The trip to Doncaster won’t be an easy 90 minute for league leaders Newcastle and they will have to scrap hard to get a win. We’re predicting a narrow win for the away team 11/10 (Paddypower) by a 2-1 scoreline 8/1 (Skybet)
League One
With Huddersfield breathing down their neck for the last playoff spot Colchester need the three points against Brentford tonight. The home win for Colchester is available at 10/11 (Coral) and must be the bet to be on.
Southampton have won five of their last six home games and we think they are a banker bet at 4/9 (Bet365) to get a home win against Hartlepool. A half time/full time result of Southampton/Southampton is on offer at 11/10 (Paddypower) and some of our money will be going on that.
League Two
Against teams below them Accrington Stanley have a good win ratio and we are predicting them to take all three points from their home game with Burton Albion. Our prediction is a home win 11/10(Bet365) with a 3-1 scoreline 18/1 (Skybet).
Rotherham just can’t seem to manage a couple of wins in a row of late and we’re predicting some more dropped points tonight against Macclesfield. The draw 11/4 (Paddypower) and the 0-0 correct score 11/1 (Bet365) are the two bets we suggest in this match.
