Premier League

Stoke City have drawn a lot of games recently and with opponents Tottenham drawing around one third of all their away games, taking the match to finish all square could pay dividends. We’re predicting a draw 9/4 (Coral) with a 1-1- scoreline11/2 (Skybet).

Liverpool make the trip to Old Trafford this weekend, but on current form we feel they will leave empty handed. We’re selecting the home win for United 7/10 (Paddypower). A bet on both teams to score 19/20 (Bet365) could also be a winning bet. Our prediction is a 2-1 win for United 8/1 (Ladbrokes) with Dimitar Berbatov 6/1 (Paddypower) to be first goalscorer.

Championship

Top keep their play-off hopes alive Blackpool could do with a home win against Crystal Palace, but we think they might have to settle for a point. Palace are unbeaten in three away and could snatch a point. The draw 12/5 (Ladbrokes) is our selection.

Scunthorpe could move out of the relegation zone with a home win over second bottom Plymouth. This is a real six pointer and we think home advantage should be enough for Scunthorpe to pick up a much needed win. The Home win11/10 (Skybet) is our selection. A small bet on a 2-1 result 17/2 (Skybet) is also recommended.

Unbeaten in eight at home Leicester City could put an end to Coventry’s decent run of form. In clashes between these two teams home advantage always seems to hold sway, so the home win 5/6 (Coral) is our selection .We are also going to bet on Leicester winning to Nil 2/1 (Paddypower) by a 2-0 scoreline 7/1 (Coral). Paul Gallagher 6/1 (Skybet) is our first goalscorer choice.

League One

League leaders Norwich have won eight of their last 10 matches, but an away trip to Swindon –who are lying in a playoff position – might not yield three points.  The under 2.5 goals 4/5 (Paddypower) might be an option worth taking in this match. We’re predicting a home win for Swindon 2/1 (Bet365). The 1-0 correct score bet 8/1 (Paddypower) also looks a bet to be on.

Wycombe and Exeter are both struggling and three points would be valuable to either team. Unfortunately we can see this ending in a draw 5/2 (Ladbrokes) with a 0-0 scoreline 8/1 (Coral).

League Two

Aldershot have drawn with Shrewsbury on their last three visits and we will be backing another draw here 12/5 (Ladbrokes). We feel there is every chance this match could finish 0-0 10/1 (Skybet).

Bradford City have been revitalised under Peter Taylor and it could pay to bet on them getting an away win at Hereford. Given Bradford’s recent performances the 6/4 (Coral) on offer looks quite generous.

Torquay are unbeaten in six and look a good price at 11/10 (Ladbrokes) to get a home win over Lincoln, who don’t win often on their travels. We’re predicting a narrow home win by 1-0 13/2 (Paddypower).Scott Rendell 6/1 (Bet365) is our first goalscorer pick.

Scotland

In the SPL it might be worth having a bet on Hibs to beat Hearts in the Edinburgh derby. Hearts have lots of injuries and that could tip things in Hibs favour. At 15/8 (Ladbrokes) Hibs look worth a bet.
