This week for our football bets, we’re going to concentrate on the Premier League fixtures.

Premier League Saturday

Burnley have won both their home games so far this season and can make it three from three when Sunderland come calling. Burnley haven’t lost a goal yet at Turf Moor in the Premier league and this won’t be an easy game for Sunderland. At odds of 15/8 (Bet365) Burnley look a good price to pick up all three points.

We’re predicting a win for Burnley and think a bet on a 1-0 corrects score 7/1 (Ladbrokes) could see a return on your stake. Martin Paterson 15/2 (Skybet) is our choice as first goalscorer.

Portsmouth have a decent record against Villa but we can’t see them winning this unless Villa have a really bad day at the office. A lack of threat in front of goal is a problem for Pompey and while they fail to put away chances their defence will always be vulnerable.

The under 2.5 goals 5/6 (Paddypower) has to be considered as Portsmouth will try and defend to scrape a point. Our prediction is a Villa win 2/5 (Coral) with a 1-0 scoreline 6/1 (Ladbrokes)

Wigan have only managed one point from a possible 24 against Arsenal in the Premier League. They look to have their work cut out to try and hold a free scoring Arsenal team and this looks as if it can be a comfortable win for the Gunners. Try a bet on Arsenal to win to nil 5/6 (Skybet) to give you better odds than the straight home win of 2/7  (Coral).

Our prediction is a 3-0 win for Arsenal 7/1 (Skybet) with Robin Van Persie 4/1 (Bet365) our choice as first goalscorer.

We expect the Hull City versus Birmingham game to be a low scoring affair and we consider the under 2.5 goals 8/11 (Skybet) to be something of a banker bet his weekend.

This looks as if it will be a very tight game and the draw 9/4 (Bet365) has to be given serious consideration. However we’re predicting a win for Birmingham 9/4 (Coral) and think a bet on a 1-0 result 8/1 (Coral) could prove worthwhile.

We’re taking Bolton and Stoke to share the points in their clash. Bolton eventually got some points on the board last week and with home advantage will try and keep that momentum going. Stoke don’t travel well and struggle to pick up away points, but could mange one here.

We’re predicting a draw 9/4 (Paddypower) with a 1-1 scoreline 11/2 (Ladbrokes).

West Ham have only one win against Liverpool in their last eight meetings and haven’t even managed a goal the last four times the teams have met. This has to be a Liverpool win for us.

Liverpool to win 4/7 (Ladbrokes) is our prediction with Yossi Banayoun 9/4 (Coral) to score anytime looking a decent bet.

Sunday Premiership Bets

The Manchester derby will be a hard fought game as usual and we can’t split the teams , so we’re going to sit on the fence and predict a draw here at 3/1 (Bet365) . A bet on a 1-1 outcome 13/2 (Skybet) might be worth a small stake.

Everton will be hoping they can bring the home form they have shown in Europe to their match with Blackburn. Only once in the last 11 meetings between the teams has there been more than 2.5 goals scored, so the under 2.5 goals should come into calculations at 3/4 (Bet365). We think it could even  pay to take the under 1.5 goals 12/5 (Paddypower).

We’re predicting an Everton win 5/6 (Coral) by a 1-0 scoreline 6/1 (Ladbrokes). Tim Cahill 13/2 (Paddypower) can get the goal.

Wolves haven’t won in three matches and they might have to settle for a point in their match with Fulham.

We’re predicting a draw 23/10 (Coral) with a 0-0 correct score 9/1 (Skybet)

We’re also going to go for a draw in the Chelsea v Tottenham match. Spurs have  a decent enough record against Chelsea and we wouldn’t be too surprised to see them come away with a point here.

Our prediction-a draw 3/1 (Ladbrokes) with a 1-1 result 7/1 (Skybet).
