This weekend we are concentrating on the Premier League and the Championship for our selections.

Premier League

Aston Villa are unbeaten in six games and with opponents Stoke having poor away form this looks a ready home win. We’re going for the over 2.5 goals at 10/11 (Paddypower)
And we’re predicting a win for Villa at 4/9 (Ladbrokes) with a 3-2 result 100/1 (Paddypower).

Chelsea are away to West Ham on Sunday and having won on their last four visits to Upton Park, the 2/5 (Coral) for the away win looks just about right. West Ham are struggling at he moment and we can’t see them troubling Chelsea. Our prediction is an away win with a 4-1 scoreline 25/1 (Coral).

We think the game between Fulham and Manchester United will be a close run thing. Fulham are unbeaten in five at home and will be hard to break down. We can see United just edging this and we’re going for a win for Manchester United 4/7 (Ladbrokes) by a 2-1 scoreline 8/1 (Skybet). We also thin k a small stake on the half time/full time result of Draw/Manchester United 7/2 (Ladbrokes) can bring a return. A first goalscorer bet on Darron Gibson 16/1 (Skybet) could also be worthwhile.

We’re going to take Burnley to get their first away win of the season at odds of 14/5 (Paddypower). Wolves beta Bolton at home last time out, but we have a feeling Burnley will win this. We’re going for the 1-0 correct score 8/1 (Ladbrokes).

Championship

West Brom will be chasing the three points against Blackpool to keep in touch with top of the table Newcastle, but Blackpool isn’t an easy place to get a result these days. Blackpool have only lost once at home this season and they could be a bit of value at 12/5 (Skybet) to get the win. The over 2.5 goals 4/5 (Paddypower) looks worth taking too.

We’re predicting a home win for Blackpool and think a bet on a 3-1 result 28/1 (Coral) could come up at a nice price. Charlie Adam 12/1 (Paddypower) is our choice to be first goaslcorer.

Plymouth have lost their last four matches while opponents Coventry haven’t manage d a win in their last five away matches. Plymouth have defeated Coventry the last four times they have visited and we think they can get a much needed win in this one. Our prediction is a home win for Plymouth at odds of 7/5 (Bet365).

Leaders Newcastle are unbeaten in 10 at home, but Middlesbrough could be worth backing to get a draw here. The away form of Middlesbrough is decent under new boss Gordon Strachan and we’re taking them to get a draw 5/2 (Paddypower) with a 1-1- scoreline 5/1 (Paddypower).

A run of 13 games unbeaten has moved Nottingham Forest up to third in the league and they can maintain that momentum by taking all three points from their home match with Preston. Away from home Preston have been struggling to get results and we think Forest will be too strong for them.

We’re picking Forest to win 4/5 (Coral) and we think they could be worth a bet to win to nil 9/5 (Paddypower). We’re predicting a 2-0 scoreline 7/1 (Skybet).
