FA Cup Matches
There are six FA Cup replays taking place this week with five of the matches being played tonight Tuesday.
Brentford have only won one of their last seven games in all competition and they found Gateshead tough nuts to crack up on Tyneside and had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Although Brentford are hot favourites to win tonight at 1/3 (Coral) we believe they will be in for another tough game as Gateshead will not go down without a fight. Taking both teams to score 5/4 (Skybet) is abet that looks as if it could bring a return.
We’re predicting Brentford to win narrowly and win by 2-1 7/1 (Ladbrokes). Carl Cort 9/2 (Bet365) could be worth a little bet to be first goalscorer.
There’s an all Conference Premier clash when Mansfield play hosts to Forest Green. Mansfield have only lost at home once in the league this season and they have already beaten Forest Green 1-0 at home in the league. We think Mansfield could win this with a little bit to spare and we’re going to have a bet on them to win to nil 5/4 (Skybet).
Our prediction for this game is a home win for Mansfield 1/2 (Coral) and the 3-0 correct score bet 10/1 (Bet365).
Tranmere put up a spirited fight before going down away to Norwich in their last league match and a repeat performance could get them something from this game. Leyton Orient are in a poor run of for at present and we think Tranmere could snatch a draw 23/10 (Paddypower) during the 90 minutes.
The 1-1 result 6/1 (Bet365) is our selection and we also think taking Tranmere to qualify 6/4 (Paddypower).
We’re going for Morecambe 2/1 (Skybet) to get a home win against their League One opponents Carlisle. Morecambe don’t lose very often at home and they look a decent value bet tonight to get a win. We’re tipping the home win with a 2-1 correct score 9/1 (Ladbrokes). Michael Twiss 9/1(Ladbrokes) is our pick to be first goalscorer.
We think Port Vale might need more than 90 minutes to get the better of Stevenage and so we’re selecting the draw 13/5 (Bet365). Port Vale have drawn four of their last five games and although we believe they will qualify 6/4 (Paddypower) we’re tipping the 1-1 result 11/2 (Coral).
In tomorrow night’s replay we are tipping Brighton 4/6 (Coral) to get a home win over Wycombe. Brighton have won their last three home matches against Wycombe and with the impetus new boss Gus Poyet could generate a comfortable home win is expected. We’re choosing a bet on the over 2.5 goals 4/5 (Skybet) and also having a bet on a 3-0 scoreline 12/1 (Ladbrokes).
