Domestic Football Betting
Today we’re taking a look at the best bets available for this weekend’s domestic football fixtures.
League One
Huddersfield haven’t lost at home yet this season and against bottom club Wycombe we don’t see them having too many problems picking up three points here.
We’re predicting a home win 5/11 (Coral) and we’re taking the 3-1 correct score at 12/1 (Skybet). Jordan Rhodes 5/1 (Coral) is our tip to be first goaslcorer.
Charlton have been stuttering a bit in their last few games, bit their home form remains good and we think they will get a narrow victory over third placed MK Dons. We’re predicting a win for Charlton 5/4 (Bet365) with a 2-0 scoreline 10/1 (Skybet).
Unbeaten in five at home, Walsall don’t look too bad a price at 4/5 (Paddypower) to get a win over Stockport. Walsall have won their last three meetings against Stockport without conceding a goals and they are 2/1 (Skybet) to win to nil. We’re going for a 2-0 result 7/1 (Ladbrokes).
League Two
We think Accrington could get a win at a decent price against third placed Dagenham& Redbridge. Accrington are unbeaten in five in all competition and with their opponents without a win in three away games we’re tempted to go for Accrington Stanley to win at 13/8 (Paddypower).
With four home losses on the bounce and only two home league wins so far this season Crewe aren’t in the best of form. Opponents Morecambe aren’t much better though as they are still without a win away from home. Both teams do usually score in their matches and the over 2.5 goals 17/20 (Bet365) could be worth a bet.
We’re predicting a draw 12/5 (Paddypower) and we’re picking the 2-2 correct score at 14/1 (Ladbrokes).
One of the best prices this weekend looks to be the 6/4 (Coral) on Rotherham getting a home win against Port Vale. They are unbeaten in 8 at home and although Port Vale are unbeaten in their last three away from home the home win looks the bet to be on.
Shrewsbury have lost four of their last six matches in all competition and they have only managed one win against Torquay in their last four meetings. Because of this we think it’s worth taking a chance on Torquay to get a win at nice odds of 7/2 (Skybet).
The form of Hereford has improved recently, but they are still poor away from home and Barnet should take the three points from their clash. We’re predicting a home win for Barnet 5/6 (Coral) and we’re selecting a 2-1 correct score 7/1 (Ladbrokes).
Scotland
Ayr United are on an awful run of form and have lost their last four games. They have only managed one win so far at home and we Ross County look good enough to get an away win here. Ross County are 10/11 (Paddypower) to get a win and we recommend a bet on them at that price.
The game between Inverness and Airdrie is one where the home team is poor at home and the away team just don’t win away. A draw 10/3 (Bet365) does look the most likely winning bet, but Airdrie are so poor away from home we think Inverness 1/2 (Ladbrokes) can win the match. We’re selecting a 2-0 correct score 6/1 (Paddypower).
