Tonight we are focusing on bets from the Premier League’s in England and Scotland and hopefully we will select a few winning bets for you.

Premier League

Defeats to Manchester United and Chelsea have left Arsenal’s title challenge in disarray and they need a win against Liverpool - who are closing in behind them – if they are to keep in touch with the top pair. Arsenal haven’t lost at home to Liverpool in nine meetings (4 draws 5 wins) so we think the 11/10 (Paddypower) on offer for an Arsenal win looks superb value. Liverpool are unbeaten in seven so will have plenty of support at odds of  5/2 (Skybet), but they have lost their only two away fixtures to teams in the top six this season we feel they will lose this one too.

We’re predicting Arsenal to win by 2-0 9/1 (Skybet) with Nicklas Bendtner 7/1 (Coral) our choice t be first goalscorer.

Aston Villa won away at Manchester United earlier in the season, but we think they might have to settle for a draw this time. We are predicting a draw 12/5 (Ladbrokes ) in this match. A    1-1- correct score bet is on offer at 6/1 (Bet365) and that looks worth a fiver or two at that price.

League leaders Chelsea don’t look great value at 8/11 (Bet365) to take all three points at Everton. They are unbeaten in four away , but Everton have won their last three home games. Five of the last six meetings between the teams have finished in draws and we think a bet on that outcome tonight will be a wining bet. We’re selecting a draw 5/2 (Coral) and a 0-0 scoreline 10/1 (Bet365) is worth a little flutter too.

We feel Birmingham are good value to get an away win against West Ham. You can get 5/2 (Coral) about a Birmingham win and that is a good enough price to be taking against a team who haven’t won for five matches. We’re predicting a 2-1 win for Birmingham 11/1 (Skybet). A first goalscorer bet on Lee Bowyer 12/1 (Skybet) might prove worthwhile.

After a decent enough start to the campaign Wolves appear to be struggling and in form Tottenham should be backed to take all three points from their visit to Molineaux. The away win is on offer at 5/6 (Ladbrokes) and must be backed.

Hull’s away form isn’t good and we feel Blackburn can take the three points from this match. We’re having a bet on the over 2.5 goals 10/11 (Paddypower) as well as the home win for Blackburn 5/6 (Bet365). In the correct score betting the 3-1 result 16/1 (Skybet) is having some of our hard earned money on it.

SPL

Hearts haven’t managed a goal in their last three matches in all competition and even with Celtic’s patchy home form it would be a brave man to bet on them at 9/1 (Bet365) to leave Celtic Park with all three points. Celtic 4/11 (Ladbrokes ) should win although we won’t be raiding our piggy bank to get on at that price. We will be having a small bet on a 2-1 win for Celtic 8/1 (Skybet) though and think Morten Rasmussen 4/1 (Paddypower) could be the first goalscorer.

Rangers are away to Motherwell where they have drawn on their last four visits. Motherwell. are unbeaten in five and look capable of grabbing a draw again at 10/3 (Skybet). A 1-1 draw is on offer at 6/1 (Coral) and might be a bet to consider.

It’s been four straight league defeats for St Mirren, but we think they can get a narrow win against St Johnstone. The under 2.5 goals is definitely a bet to consider at 7/10 (Bet365) as only once in the last nine matches between the teams has there been 2.5 goals or more. We’re predicting a 1-0 win to St Mirren at 7/1 (Ladbrokes).

We’re predicting Falkirk and Kilmarnock will fight out a dour draw 12/5 (Paddypower) with a 0-0 scoreline 9/1 (Skybet).
